La isla Bajo el Mar : :

The last book I read called "The island in the sea", is of the Chilean writer Isabel Allende.
This book was a gift from my boyfriend for my birthday..
Well, the story is about the life of an eighteenth-century slave named Zarité and the fight for freedom. The story takes place in several locations, but focuses on Santo Domingo. Zarité is a mulatto woman who at age 9 is sold as a slave to the French Toulouse Valmorain. There are other characters in the book, which are very interesting, as Violette, who is engaged in prostitution, Loula, the woman who protects her, Tante Rose, who is the healer, Celestine or Tante Mathilde, the cook of the plantation.
In the course of history, it takes forty years in the life of this woman, is counted as the exploitation of slaves that occurred on that island. Then she reached freedom for which he had fought hard and also lives a love story. The book ends up telling the story of a child conceived by Zarité and Valmorain.
I really liked this book because it tells a true story about the exploitation that might occur in many parts of the world, but specially with several characters who are magical. You tells the story of several women who are key and gives a different value because it demonstrates the importance of the strength of women to bring up the family. And especially with the history of Zarité, which is the example of a fighter.

Bicentennial activities...

Well, during the days of the bicentennial activities I really enjoyed the thinks I did. I went with my family to my brother’s house located in the borough of Puente Alto and danced all day long. We ate and drank a lot. I also went to the discotheque with my friend Natalia and my sister Pamela, so I started this week very tired. I think that is why I would be resting this weekend, taking advantage of the days in bed and recovering.
Unfortunately, this weekend a friend celebrating her birthday at home, which is located within a great plot in the borough of Lonquen, so I'll have to make an effort to assist jajaj, as you can see you, these days have been very enjoyable for me . You could also attend and I highly recommend this place to everyone.
I've been there several times since my best friend lives there and is very fun because there is a great swimming pool. The house has a fireplace and at night we sat around the campfire to sing and drink.
Well, I will go because I’m invited to the home to celebrate the birthday and be inviting me, and I can not attend. You neither!! This place is very recommend because is beautiful.I recommend you wear a jacket because it is very cold there and also I recommend them to all care during the day friday and saturday people be careful when you go to have fun and when you drive a car.

Tiki tiki tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

I love the month of September, is one of my favorite months because people are less stressed, people want to have fun and enjoy family and friends. Especially in a year like this, the bicentennial year where there are many activities for fun! .
In this celebration, we'll gather with my family in the house that my brother has recently purchased in the community of Puente Alto , we will be sharing all day, eating "empanadas" and “asado”, there will be many delicious things to eat. I also hope to see my friends with whom we have long been able to meet.
I do not need to spend much money at this time, because with something simple you can enjoy incredibly. The important thing is celebrate family.
Every year I intend to learn to dance cueca and I try, but after a bit I forget steps, so hopefully this year can practice a little more this wonderful dance

Education

I think that the people who manage the education would never accept education as a right but a product to be consumed...This goes against my thinking, because I think that education should be free for all, quality of education is very important along with equal access. The universities in Chile are different in relation to the quality of education they offer (for example the private universities and the public universities) . The education is a system that excludes and is not for all the people.
This issue always ends up in violence :( .
I think more radical actions are needed, is clear that the privatization of the education is not a new issue on the Chilean educational system and is a problem for the whole society.
If the young people from a country can’t develop themselves in equal,probably the country won’t be able to reach a real development either. I think that the state should be responsable about the public services, especially education. About of the Universidad de Chile, I think that even if is a state university, is really expensive to study and I fear that the university system slowly begins to privatize. Especially with the new government and the minister of education...

España

A country that I would like to visit is Spain. I've always liked that country and because it has a rich history and is very beautiful. I also love the flamenco dance and music, actually, now I am taking flamenco classes.
One of its beautiful cities is Barcelona, which has great castles that someday I would like to know. I would someday go on vacation, but also I dream of going to Spain to study and get a major in psychology. I have a friend who lives in Barcelona and has visited me at home. I would go alone, but it would be better going along with my boyfriend because he has friends living there and he would also like to travel to Spain. The journey I have not planned and neither I have saved the money to travel, but I do when I'm working...

First term :)

My first term

Hello friends, ¿how are you? hope you well. I remember my first term with happiness and good memories because it was entertaining and I started meeting people, I remember friends and in the first week there was a lof of distraction and funny.
I remember that last year I failed a course and that was in the second semester, which was a problem for me and I was sad because I thought I had done enough to pass the course, but I got a 3,9 as a final grade. This course was very difficult and required many hours of study. In the other course got good mark. I also worked, so I had to organize my time well to study and to perform both activities.

My Blogging Experience....

My blogging experience it was very important because I had never worked with a tool like this. My experience with the blog is new , I Iike writing and the themes were entertained. I think the technology helps very much to the learning. Without the help of the moderns tools the learning would be less entertaining . Is very interesting for my and generally the person who has some disability to learn can go to the pace of study for that they ask them. The bad is having to write this blog on Friday, when I'm more tired and I want to go to home. The disadvantages of this activity is the fact that there is only two rooms of computation to work, sometimes they deal for classes and therefore the use of the computers is restricted only for the people who is in this class, which it makes difficult to work if one has to do a rapid work or lives very far from the university or don´t have Internet in his house to send the works. Because of it I believe that to solve this problem there should be more rooms of computation and this way not to lose the pace of the work . With these measures I believe that we might do a suitable and satisfactory use of the rooms of computation and to may realize well the works. I think that this is very important to my university and my classmates. The advantages of this activity is the fact that allows extending the english vocabulary and learn new terms, plus is a fun way to learns through different topics so it is more free the process of the learning. It is a good technique and I would like to continue working this way. I think it is a very useful tool that has helped me improve my English writing and allowed me to learn new sentences.
