My favourite sport

My favourite sports is the artistic gymnastics. Is a discipline of gymnastics which is very popular in the olympic games. The competitive gymnasts performs routines and I like to see these routines on television.

The symbol of this sports is Nadia Comaneci, because is considered the star of this sport and she received many awards for their excellent ratings . Also was the first gymnast ever to be awarded a perfect score of 10 in an Olympic gymnastic event. I like this sport because it's great to see the gymnasts perform acrobatics and is also a very feminine sports.

Gymnastics is an activity requiring strength, flexibility, agility and grace.

I do not practice this sport, but would like to.

The rules are: every gymnast starts at a different stop on the runway depending on their height and strength. Then may include one or more multiple saltos or somersaults, and/or twisting movements.

A form of artistic gymnastics is the rhythmic gymnastics.

Only women can compete in rhythmic gymnastics although there is a new version of this discipline for men. The sport involves the performance of five separate routines with the use of five apparatus—ball, ribbon, hoop, rope—on a floor area, with a much greater emphasis on the aesthetic rather than the acrobatic.

Another is the acrobatic gymnastics, a group gymnastic discipline for both men and women. Acrobats in groups of two, three and four perform routines with the heads and hands

Gymnastics is considered to be a dangerous sport, due in part to the height of the apparatus, the speed of the exercises and the impact on competitors' joints, bones and muscles. Sports have many affinities with art. For example the artistic gymnastics, my favourite sport ,can be considered a artistic spectacle.

Beautiful photography

A photograph that i really like was taken at my graduation per my brother ago five years ago, as time has passed!!. The photograph was taken in december 2005 in the schoolyard of my school, where one carries out the ceremonia. In the photograph I am hugging my mother, at the time I was crying from emotion and is clear that we embrace. Every time I see the picture I remember the day , was an important step in my life . Was important all my family accompany me at the time. I remember that day my brother took many pictures and all are beautiful. But this photograph is one that demonstrates the emotion of that moment for me. This is not a typical photograph, as it reflects a lot of tenderness, emotions and happiness.

In the photo, am with that the uniform representing my school, blouse and skirt that now I have in my wardrobe and my mother was giving me a bouquet of roses at the time, was very beautiful for me to receive the flowers, also is one of the few times they gave me flowers.

I would like to enlarge the picture and hang it on a table in my room, for to always remember that beautiful moment,because I think it would be a pleasure to have. Sometimes I look at the photographs of that day and I think everything that has happened in five years!!. I like to take many photographs in those special moments as they fall as a reminder to always observe for a moment and feel the same emotion that occurs at the time that the photograph is made.

My hobby

My favorite hobby is jogging through the parks of "Lo Cañas" to enjoy fresh air, exercise and relax. Approximately four years ago I practice and although lately I have not been able to do for lack of time, helps me feel physically healthy and energized! I started with my dad and sometimes I go out with my brother.

I like to run mainly in the summer evenings when the air is fresh.

When I run I do three times a week for about an hour.

"Lo Cañas" is a place near my house, which is characterized by green areas, trees and many people gather there to go out biking, jogging or walking. It is a place where children gather to play football.

I think it's important to practice a sport for a healthy life as this can relax, lose weight, keep fit and many more benefits!

When I run, I do so with appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes, a bottle of water to refresh and nothing else! this is a positive feature of running that is a sport that all economic and can be made! The good thing about going to this place, is the contact with nature which allows for a huge mess and wants to continue playing sports.

Finally, I do push-ups and exercises to prevent muscle injury, took a deep breath and little water to go back to my house and when I'm there I settle to rest or sleep for a moment, as it is very tiring. I would like to return to practice during winter break to relax the exhaustion of the university!

Man on Fire...

My favorite movie is "Man on Fire", with my favorite’s actor: Denzel Washington (in the film is John Creasy). The story talk’s about a family living in Mexico, formed by Samuel Ramos and Lisa Martin, who have a daughter, Lupita Ramos, she got nine years. They hire a bodyguard to care her daughter, because the numerous kidnapp’s of children in the country. At the first, the parents feel a little scared by the earlier work of John, he was working on terrorism cases, but the girl quickly falls in love with him, who is responsible for poor way, he is not accustomed to receiving care,but after a few weeks this is a beautiful friendship Lupita.Creasy takes great care and replace the parents of Katie when they are not. Even losing height helps to Lupita swimming competitions and won a competition. All these situations make Creasy has a new motivation to live, and that before coming to the house to work, was an alcoholic and had lost its way. This greatly affected when Lupita is is kidnapped and injured by trying to protect her.The parents go to the police and rescue is performed Lupita, but it happens and the days are ambusha call that the girl is dead. Creasy to Knowing this, do the impossible to find and is willing to kill anyone who is responsible. The film takes its name because it feels so Creaspowerless because they can not find it, that revenge is the fire that dominates it does promise to kill any person who has been involved in the kidnapping. Then get to find it in exchange for his life. Dies in the hands of those who had kidnapped, and the sad thing is that her father was included in the abduction. Katie returns to her mother's arms and the film ends with a beautiful song. This is my favorite movie for Denzel's performance, as shown by significant and different from his other films. Also for the background story, which is a strong social problem faced by many countries creasy for Latin America and was able to leave theirweakness for alcohol exceeded as a side and person, just to be with small and make her happy.

My favourity festivity

My favourite festivity is the 18 of September. Is a

celebration very important for my country because it

remember the proclamation of the First Board of

Governors , held in 1810 when you start the process of

independency in Chile. It is celebrated with typical food

dishes, a very tasty“empanada”,dancing cueca (the

tradicional dance of Chile) and families attending the

“fondas”.The fondas are traditional places prepared

especially for this time of year,serving traditional

dishes and drinks. The symbol of this date is the Chilean

flag in the houses .In all buildings in the country for Independence Day

is imperative the flag. Also is typical Chilean music,

such as the cueca. This festival is considered the date

of the sample with stronger expressions of

people, so it is important for the country, and besides

this year marks the 200th anniversary of the Independence

of Chile! It is the year of the bicentennial. This

festivity I like it because people are happy and having

fun, also is lived love of country and family can

relax!.

I like that year after year, this day is alive with more power and it is important to celebrate that we are a free and independent country ... and tikitiki tii

Someone I admire

Someone I Admire:

When I think about someone I really admire, I always think in Iris Gallardo. She is a teacher from my faculty, who teaches Statistics and Science’s Methods.
She is like sixty years old, but she is incredible, because she knows a lot of different things. When she explains, everything gets clear, and no one needs to ask anymore.
But that’s not everything at all, because when she explains, different questions appear, but no questions about de subjects, but about things that usually comes up, like reflections or deep thoughts that refreshes the ideas.

This teacher, Iris Gallardo, it is also a good person. When you feel kind of depress or something like that, if you want to she can hear you, or even help you, if she can.
She tried to study Architecture for two years, but then she quiet and she went (or came, if you want to) to study psychology. She studied psychology because she wanted to work on something related to the psychiatric practice, in something related to kids.
I like her because she has taughtt me a lot of things, and she continues doing it every time we see each other.

Soda ....the best *

My favourite band is Soda Stereo, an Argentinian rock band that I always like to listen to in my spare time or when I want to be distracted, singing out loud. I like the lyrics and the music itself, and I think some songs have something that makes me forget my reality and go into another world. Others remind me of my loved ones or make me feel identified .The band was founded in 1982 by Gustavo Cerati, Zeta Bosio and Charly Alberti. Among their most remarkable work, we find albums like "Soda Stereo", "Nada Personal" y "Signos" (Which is one of my favourites), just to name a few. In 1987, they performed at the International Song Festival of Viña del Mar, which led to almost 120 cases of hysteria, among the audience. In 1997 they went on a farewell tour, since the band was no longer going to be releasing new material. The last concert they gave was on Buenos Aires, at the River Plate Stadium.
